Description Pictures
This village's name comes from King Louis XV who granted pieces of land in this region. Already in 1697, fishing posts were established but in 1758, General Wolfe and his men burnt everything down during the Battle of Quebec, won by the British.

If you get to Mont-Louis from the west, you will immediately feel the maritime tradition of this village with its harbor and fish processing plant. Around the bay, you will find snack bars and a nice beach.
