From 1882 to 1901, there were six weddings in this village. Not very interesting, would you say? In fact, the brides and grooms were all from the same two families, Bouffard and Durette. This represents a record setting made official in the Guinness Book of World Records. Visit the Horace-Bouffard House, a museum presenting the history of these numerous marriages. This house, solidly built in 1897, is made entirely in dovetail assembly.
A little further south in Saint-Adelme, one can see the biggest thuja tree (cedar) in Quebec.
