Description Pictures
To reach the village you must leave Hwy 132. The fishing harbor is the central point of L'Anse-a-Valleau. From Hwy 132 at the top of the hill on the east side you will get a fine view of the village, the harbor and the surrounding mountains. There is also a lighthouse west of the village.

L'Anse-a-Valleau is the north entrance to the municipality of Gaspe which has the largest area in Quebec. It amalgamates 17 villages, Forillon and the city of Gaspe itself. Douglastown marks the south entrance.
