Description Pictures
The last battle between English and French took place right here in 1760. This village was founded in 1908 and honors Andre-Albert Blais, Rimouski's Bishop from 1891 to 1919, year he died. Saint-André-de-Restigouche has always been an important populating place, mainly with massive arrivals of Acadians and Normans.

Picot's Fall is part of the Appalachian International Trail and spreads out hundreds of meters. An interesting hike in the forest.

From Hwy 132, take the road leading to the village and you will be able to see Ristigouche River and New Brunswick in the background. During the winter season, enjoy cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or a snowmobile ride in a splendid decor.
