Sainte-Florence was founded in 1897 and in 1908, the Heppell covered bridge was inaugurated and has become the oldest in the region. This hamlet offers anglers many salmon pools including the renowned Adams pool. There are also several hiking trails, some recent ones located near Routhierville.
